Help with First Time Package Setup

We are using the package function for the first time. The documentation was very helpful and for the most part we have got everything set up the way we want it, however, we do want to be able to sell this package online. Our main issue is that I can't figure out how to suppress the price type when purchasing an individual show online. Does anyone have any pointers on how to sell one price type exclusive to single tickets on TNEW and another price type exclusive to the package?

  • The easiest way is to have different modes of sale. You could have a Web-Season and Web-Single mode of sale and then associate the correct price types to each.

  • Further to using 2 MOS for subs and single tickets, you might also look at using LTR_TN_EXPRESS_WEB_EXCLUDE_PT if patrons are able to add single performances to a cart containing a sub.  Entries here will prevent subs Price types appearing as available for use for single performances.

Also, you can give Price Types aliases in LTR_TNEW_ALIAS_PRICE_TYPE if that helps.
