Hi there,
We are wondering if anyone has ever tied a specific hold code to a source code, so that once that source code is entered the seats under the hold code are available.
We have some seats we want to be available only to a certain set of patrons, at least upon our first on sale, and those patrons get a special promo code with an offer.
If you've ever made something like this work, how did you do it?
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
Best,
Kim
Hi, Kim – Yes; same as Brooke. Allocations are your friend.

Hi Kim,
We use allocation codes like this.
We set up a source code linked to a promo code that switches your MOS when you enter it and gives you access to that allocation code (as opposed to using hold codes).
You need to link the source code to the MOS and promo code in the TR_WEB_SOURCE_NO table to make this work and then set up the offer as you usually would to attach the source code to a price type.
If that's not super clear, don't hesitate to get in touch.
