Hold code tied to a source/promo code?

Hi there,

We are wondering if anyone has ever tied a specific hold code to a source code, so that once that source code is entered the seats under the hold code are available.

We have some seats we want to be available only to a certain set of patrons, at least upon our first on sale, and those patrons get a special promo code with an offer.

If you've ever made something like this work, how did you do it?

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Best,

Kim

You should use an Allocation instead of a Hold. Allocations were designed to do this.

  • Perfect, thanks Nicole and Brooke! I knew there was a way to do this, we just don't often use allocation codes.
