rollovers containing multiple Super packages

Hi everyone!

I'm wondering if anyone has some insight regarding rolling over multiple Super packages into the same order for next season's subs. I'm pretty sure I would need to tweak the "Add to Orders Created After" date in Rollover Manager but I'm just not exactly sure in what manner to do it. Thoughts?

  • The packages are rolling fine but they are winding up in separate orders. In regards to your first post, you said to put the date as one day before the rollover date. I'm looking to do rollovers today so I would have the "Add to Orders Created After" date as yesterday for EVERY rollover segment as yesterday, correct?

  • Hi!

I have two seasons, with 324 super-package packages between them (don’t ask!) and they all landed where then needed to go.  As long as your ‘add to orders created after’ is set to the day before you roll, they’ll all wind up in the same orders.  I highly suggest doing some testing in Test first, though!

    Cheers,

    Kathleen

  • Thanks Kathleen! Did you use a list of those patrons that have multiple types of subs by chance?

  • No, I didn’t, but I did some practice rollovers in test where I knew customers should wind up with multiple packages in their order.  But I suppose you could always use lists if you wanted to roll all of your VIPs before everyone else, if there was a need to do them first.

  • David,

I’m doing this exact thing right now (adding 2 packages to the same rollover order).  The way I did it was set the date to tomorrow for the first package so it wouldn’t get added to any orders from today or previous dates. Then for the second package, I set the date to today’s date.  Both packages are in one rollover order.

This is my 3rd year doing this and it has worked great each time.

    Teresa
