Debit payment methods?

Hi all,

Let's say, as an example, I have $1000 in grant income. I want any user to be able to use that money for any patron. I'm assuming that "On Account" is not really a viable option, since I want it to be available to multiple patrons.

Does anyone have a creative solution for me??

Thanks, as always, for your wisdom!

Best,

Lesley

  • The way around this is to let your sales team know to which account the GC is assigned. Then can then go there and find it. If there are going to be many of these GC’s you could create a sales note for the performance it can be used on that simply says what the GC number is. The sales note can either be mandatory or not depending on how you structure it. You could also use CSI’s that are assigned to that team so they know what’s going on as well regarding this special use GC.

A gift certificate was certainly under consideration, but I thought it would be kind of unwieldy for the sales team to keep track of the gift certificate numbers, especially if there was more than one of these at a time.

Gift Certificate was going to be my suggestion as well.  It is easy enough to create an internal promotional/grant/etc.. payment method to pay for said Gift Certificate.  We have just recently done something similar for a promotion with our Black Friday sale this year.
