Hello all!
We recently had an event postponed due to a power outage that has since been rescheduled for this sunday evening and were wondering if anyone has dealt with a similar situation?
If so, would you be willing to share the takeaways from your experience?
We've changed the date of the performance in Tessitura and are hoping we don't need to reprint the PAH tickets that are out there. Thankfully there's only about 100 out there, but I'm worried that there may be some sort of hiccough due to the information embedded in the N-Scan barcode.
Thanks!Short
Yes, entering the perf_no works when an event date changes and you don't want to reissue tickets. We had to do this for postponed events in December when we had ice storms. If any new tickets are printed with the new date, they will also work because the perf_no does not change. We just had our upgrade to 6.?.? (scanners are in another room and I'm not walking up there to grab one, sorry) and the table name is now TR_NScan_Profiles. Our older version had the LTR prefix and it took some time for us to determine that the upgrade no longer used the previously named one to set the perf nos. We have multiple venues and have to enter the perf nos in our scanners for each show to limit access to the correct venue and level. Hope that helps. Hawana Hawana Townsley House Manager Charles W. Thank you, both!
Now I feel more comfortable informing our FOH staff on what to expect the night of. :)

We just changed the date in the event and they were able to keep their tickets. As long as the "doors open" and "doors close" are the correct NEW date, you should be fine!
