Batch Printing for Performance Will Call

Hi there,

I imagine this question may have been asked before, but I had difficulty finding it specifically on the forums.

I'm adjusting the way our box office currently prints tickets, and would like to print all will call tickets for a performance starting two days before that performance. I'd like to include box office transactions as well as web transactions in the same batch print. I'm currently on v11. Is there any way to avoid having to run the batch print twice, and include both type of transactions in one batch print?

Thank you!

  • I don’t use the Batch print function.  I go into the Order Search Screen and choose the show with no filters on Delivery or MOS.  I select Paid=Y,Seated=Y,Printed=N.  Alphabetize list, select all and check Continuous print.  Maybe you want to try that way.

    Hi Kim,

How do you currently set up your batch print jobs? We've always included web orders with our others orders without issue. For Will Call prints we have our Filter section wide open. All Catergories, Deliveries, and MOS with Reprint set to No.

  • When using Order Search, I just noticed that even when I click printed NO it still includes performances that were exchanged out of. If I chose to print tonight's tickets it will include a patron that exchanged out of tonight. I don't know how to batch print any other way.

  • Order search will print full orders, and the search and filter criteria are always applied to the full order as well. So, if you have an order with an event for today that was exchanged for tomorrow's event (which is still unprinted), the order search by today's event will return the order (even though it was exchanged) and the "Printed: No" filter won't filter it out since the order still has _tomorrow's_ tickets unprinted.

The alternative would be to use the batch ticket print function in the Season Manager module, not in Ticketing Orders. This ensures that tickets will only be printed for the events you select.
