What is the proper way to treat the household account when A1 is deceased. I marked that individual's record as deceased and inactivated it, but the household record still shows him as A1. Is there a way to switch A1 & A2...do I need to do anything more?
Many thanks! I knew it was there somewhere.

Yes. We swap A1 and A2 when A1 dies.
Constituents > Household Operations > Swap A1/A2
That’s the Constituents menu after File and Go To.
