Change Number of Characters for Performance Title

Hello!

Is there way to change the maximum number of characters for a performance title? I have one that is 4 characters too long and I really need to make the whole title fit. Is there a table I need to go to in order to change this or does this need to be done in the sequel server somewhere?

Thanks!

Megan

  • We have the same kind of thing with inventory content.  We have a different name for the value but the same idea.

    Hi Megan,

We created inventory content (TR_INV_CONTENT) called ProdLongName with the full production name as the value for this very reason. We then pull this inventory content onto our ticket designs through a user defined element and our website also pulls the content value for the production name.

We are not on TNEW so we can’t change it there. Thanks for the advice though!

Is your event on TNEW? You can make the title longer by selecting Express Title in content area. That way the customer see's the entire performance name.   We don't have to worry about it as much in house since the sellers know the event they are selling and our tickets state the entire performance name.
