Is there a way to have a price type only pull from a specific hold code online? Our students are allocated certain seats and we would like for our student tickets to only pull from these 'S' holds online. Is this possible? If so, can you help guide me on how to do this or direct me to a help document?

Hi Beth,I would use allocations rather than holds to achieve this. Allocations are tied to modes of sale, not price types, but you can tie your price type to a specific mode of sale in the system table TX_MOS_PRICETYPE. Under Facility Manager's Hold/Alloc Maps tab there's a feature called Maintain Allocation Codes which you can use to tie your student allocation to whichever online mode of sale they'll be using.

We also use the method Bryan has described to allow certain groups access to specific seats online via MOS and allocations. If the allocation isn't linked to a membership MOS, we then trigger the MOS via a link or promo code in an email or on the website (usually if it's temporary).
