Does anyone currently use Tessitura for Restaurant bookings - not just reserving a table, but selecting dishes from the menu, wines etc.? We have a set menu price, with a number of dishes that have supplements to add on.

We haven't fully instituted this yet, but I've playing around with a few set-up options as we just opened a resteraunt about a year ago and we're trying to figure out the best way to manage it. One of the things I found that seems to work well for this is to set up user defined fees for specific menue items that would increase the cost of the base meal...i.e. the meal is $8 and includes either, fish, chicken, a hamburger, etc. To get a Steak, you add a $5 fee for steak that can be put in manually...is that the kind of thing you're referring to?
