Hello All,
Is anyone using the acquirer method with Element? If so, how would you rate the service and conversion? Have you experiences any performance issues during on-sales?
Gloria,
We are using Element as an acquirer at the Kennedy Center, and had a very large on-sale. Performance was significantly better than with Transcend, it made a huge improvement in our on-sale. We’d rate their service pretty highly. We had to do some adjusting from past practices, mostly related to getting used to their reporting tools, which we found a bit limiting, They do have an easy way to get at the data via a simple AP so you can write your own reports. We were able to write a few reports that link Tessitura and Element data together.
We ran into more limitations with the interaction between Tessitura and Element – some issues that were quickly fixed, but there are still some open issues with AVS, so if you use AVS, you might want to check with Tessitura and be sure you understand the current limitations.
Alan

Hi Gloria,
We use Element as a gateway; however, the interface between Tessitura and Element is the same in both acquired and gateway methods so I think our input on your second question would apply. We haven’t experienced any major issues. In fact, performance has improved overall.
Element’s service has been good; we had no major issues setting this up. One of our resident companies uses Element as their processor. They are low volume; however, if you want to talk to them about their experience, let me know.
Thanks,
David
