Inactive Constituency

We ran into a new issue in V11.0.4 manually adding a constituency to a patron record. When a patron had inactive constituency ('Board Member' for example) , we were not able to add the same constituency with a new start date. Invalid Entry error message pops up ' Constituent already has a constituency of this type'.

Any suggestions?

    A single constituency can only be assigned once per patron, regardless on if it has been inactivated. I think most have gotten around this issue by creating a "Former" and a "Current" version of the constituency.

    I know it has been an enhancement request in the past to be able to assign a constituency multiple times, but I don't know where that request stands.
