Split screen problem

Hi All,

One of my users is getting an odd thing happening when she is in the Merge Constituents process. When she clicks on a Constituent details, a vertical line appears down the list, in the 'Streeet1' column. When she clicks away to clear the line, the column appears to change size and the data is overlapped with the next column.

Probably not a very good explanation, but I wondered if anyone else had seen anything similar. I can't replicate it in my login and no-one else has reported, so it appears to be user specific. I checked the options in Preferences, but nothing suggests its a split screen option which has got turned on.

Any thoughts anyone?

    Debbie,

    This is a known defect resolved in v12.  The trick to get rid of the split is to restore down the window (take it off Maximize).  Resize the merge window taking the right border and dragging it left until the application triggers a scroll on the window with the split.  When the scroll appears you can then drag the split to the leftmost corner to remove it (like other windows the split screen is controlled by the little gray bar which splits the scrolls).  Once you have removed the split you should be able to maximize the window again.  There are a couple of places in the application where we have seen this (constituencies for example) and this solution should work in all places.

    Yep – that is the annoying bug that I believe is on schedule for correction in v.12.    Your folks may also experience when scheduling Household merge the program will revert to the top of the program again rather than remaining at the point within the program.
