We added a new merchant in Transcend and setup a new payment method for it. When trying to test, authorization fails with a 'Failed Authorizations' popup window saying: "Response: Get mercahnt department failed for merchant with selector: 402." I can't find anything in Transcend or Tessitura that references a department. Has anyone else ever seen this?

Do you have First Data as your merchant processor? We recently switched and had to go through a whole activation process for each merchant in TranScend. For each merchant a charge had to be run, which then got an error message. After that a config file was populated with some information that had to be updated before a charge would go through properly. I don't remember the exact wording of the error message, but I think it was similar to the message you are seeing.
