Does anyone have a customized AP_ACKNOWLEDGEMENT_LETTERS procedure? I'm looking to add the total amount recieved on a pledge and the total amount outstanding on a pledge on some acknowledgment letters.
ANY help would be appreciated.
I am not sure exactly how ours are set up yet…but we have our acknowledgment letters set up in word and then link the different fields such as membership level, contribution amount, account #, etc. When I choose a particular category of letters to print they are generated through merging the letter from word with Tess. Could that possibly be an option for you to try?

We use custom fields for this purpose. This requires manual entry of the custom field information when processing a gift, though. One custom field is called Pledge Payment # and has default text of “(first) payment” and the other is Total Pledge Amount and takes a money value. These fields are available in the Word document.

Thanks for the input but I'm looking to Kaizen the process and avoid extra manipulation outside of Tessitura or counting on the human factor to key in data that the system already is tracking.
I'm hoping to avoid reinventing the wheel by finding someone else who has already modified the script.
We like many must to it with more accuracy, more timely and using fewer resources.
