We are having an issue with new PCs Windows 7 dealing with ticket printing. We keep getting ... Can't set printer to default.
The users have full control to the Tessitura.ini file through a local users security group and we have tried giving the user explicit permissions. We have tried putting the file in system32 and in the root of C but have a feeling that Windows 7 doesn't allow writing to files in these locations. Anybody else had this issue or know a work around?

Just an FYI. You can automate these permission settings in group policy so you don't have to deal with doing it on every workstation. I have a howto I can send you if you want.

I stumbled upon your response while gathering some information about Tessitura deployment on windows 7 64 bit. What sort of measures did you take before rolling out. Where there major road blocks did you face? Also, would you be able to share your how to instruction on setting permissions thru group policy?
