NSCAN scanner frozen

I'm having an issue with one of our scanners.  It only shows a blank white screen when I turn it on, doesn't react to any buttons I push and won't take a charge (the yellow light just blinks so it's well on its way to being dead).  Is there a way of resetting the scanner altogether or am I just looking at a more serious problem?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Have you tried removing the battery and then reinstalling it?

  • We had the same problem and were sending them back to our supplier to be fixed as they were under warranty. We have now got a Scanner Clean Boot Tool that we have on a Memory Card that we then put into the scanner to reset it. We then have to reinstall everything again.

The Clean Boot files are different for each type of scanner I believe, so it may be worth contacting your supplier.
