Credit Card Processing

We have had problems with credit card processing during our last three big on sales. This past week Elton John went on sale and we had 7000 simultaneous hits on our web site. Transcend and the Tessitura CC server was not able to handle the volume. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you resolve it?

    We experienced the same problem with an on-sale on the 18 March where we had 12,500 concurrent users on our website.  We are also trying to determine the cause of the problem.  Our Tessitura is hosted by RAMP and our webservers are hosted locally.
