PAH - PDF Issue

Has anyone experienced an issue with patrons saying their PDF  PAH tickets are blank?  When I open the file, it's fine.  I've discovered that some PDF viewers don't like Adobe created files and open up blank.  Is this something anyone else has experienced?  If so, is there a way to make sure the files can be opened in any PDF viewer with no issues?  I've had this problem come up about 3-4 times now and I need to find a solution if possible.

    We have a line of text on our order page to inform patrons that they will need to have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to open the files.

    Yes, we ran into this last year, though complaints have diminished. It seemed like the built-in PDF Preview app in Mac OS X, particularly on older PowerPC Macs, had a hard time with PAH PDFs. Either the fonts would come up blank, or the entire PDF. The newest Adobe Reader usually took care of this.
