Order Date Parameter in Order Seach

When you use Order Search from the order screen, the system defaults the order date to dates that I cannot make sense of. We want all order searches to default to all order dates. Anyone know the logic behind how it picks the date range for Order Date?

I don’t think so because the start dates default to dates other than in the active seasons.

I think that the order start and end dates come from TR_SEASON. So that they show the dates for the currently active Seasons start and end dates; taking the earliest start date and latest end date if you have more than one season.

  • Hi Gloria,

I found this extract in the documentation:

    Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

The Ord Dt fields are used to limit the results to orders with order dates that fall within the range entered; orders which have a null order date (i.e. untouched rollover orders) will be retuned no matter the dates in the Ord Dt field.

The start and end dates default to the earliest start date the latest end date among all active seasons as defined in TR_SEASON.

I guess if yours aren't following this, then you need to open a help ticket.
