Security User Group Changes??

So I am trying to make it easier for our Director of Education to use Tessitura. We are on v16, so she is going to be the first solely using the web app.

Most of the things I don't want her to see went away really easily in Security by selecting NO for all the rights. However, there are a few that are stuck no matter how many No's I put and I can't figure out why.

She doesn't need the following:
Campaigns (View Source Codes)
Plans (Upcoming Steps)
Access Control (Process Offline Scans)

I selected NO for everything labeled Access Control and Process Upload Scans, so I'm not sure why that one is stuck. Same with the other two...unless I am missing something that is related to those but doesn't explicitly say Plans or Campaigns.

Also, how do I change a user's "Home" screen. For some of our staff it's Production Elements, for others its Constituent Search. I would actually like her start screen to be the Resource Calendar if at all possible.

Thanks!

  • Hi ,

As someone working exclusively on the web application at Tessitura, I'm so excited that you have a user heading over to web app!

The pages that you listed haven't had security rights associated to them historically - they're also available to all users within the Windows client application too. We've heard similar feedback to yours about that situation, and we're actively working on a solution to give you the ability to control those pages as you described. It will be much cleaner without them!

Keep an eye on our release notes as this year progresses and hopefully you'll see those new permissions added in some time.

    Thanks!
