I was issued a new laptop on Monday and I suddenly can't save anything from Tessitura. I'm on a VPN connection and we are RAMP hosted. I've been saving everything to a USB drive while working from home. When on-site, I was able to save to our network drives. We have never had the option of saving to our PCs. When I try to save now I get the error message seen below. The only placed I've been able to save is to a folder I created in FileMover, but then I can't save from there anywhere. My desktop support person hasn't been able to figure it out and I'm waiting to hear back from a Tessitura help ticket. Has anyone encountered this and now how to fix it?
Thanks!Anne
Unfortunately, I'm getting the same error when I try that. I think there must be something about the setup on this laptop that is the issue.
Anne, I think this could be an issue with Citrix. Having just set up a new laptop today, the first time I went to save a file there was a permissions pop-up, and I remembered that one time a couple years back I accidentally clicked the wrong option and had the same issue you're seeing. I believe I uninstalled and reinstalled Citrix, since I couldn't easily track down where the permissions for file access lived. After reinstalling, I double- and triple-checked that I was about to click on "always allow" option. :-) Hope that helps!
AHA! that makes sense. I will try that Thank you!
Thanks, Steve Moore! That did the trick. You are a life saver!
That was the problem for us recently with a new PC set up where Citrix read and Write prefs weren't set upCitrix > Connection Centre > Preferences > Read and Write
Saved us a reinstall
