Saving reports to PDF in Windows 7

Hi all,

I’m sure I have seen an answer to this but I can’t fine anything on the website. So I have a lovely new Windows 7 machine, problem is I’m getting the ‘disk is full’ error when I try to save a report to PDF. My old trick of installing an Apple driver can’t be done as that isn’t in the updated list.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Gary

    I don't know if it work for Windows7 but this usually works on that error.

    2. Install on Windows XP

    3. Archive the existing c:\pbvm\gs folder;

    4. Delete the contents of the c:\pbvm\gs folder;

    5. Copy the contents of c:\program files\gs to c:\pbvm\gs;

    6. Rename the gs8.60 folder to "gs7.05"

    7. Go into Control Panel/Printers;

    8. Delete the Sybase Datawindow PS printer, if it exists (most likely it will not);

    9. Right-click the printers window and click on Add Printer...

    10. Click on Add Local Printer;

    11. Select "Use an existing port", and change it to "FILE: (Print to File)", and click Next;

    12. Click "Have Disk..." and enter "c:\pbvm\gs\gs7.05\lib" under "Copy manufacturer's files from:", and click OK;

    13. Select "Ghostscript PDF" in the Printers list and click Next;

    14. Enter "Sybase Datawindow PS" for the printer name; it does not need to be set as the default printer;

    15. Click Finish when successful installation is indicated.
