Hey all.
This is probably something that is so simple I won't believe I'm missing it, but I'm running into a problem with Citrix Receiver. When we started working from home, I loaded Receiver to my laptop, Ramp detected it and everything was fine. I had some laptop issues, I had to reload my Window 10 and the Ctirix Receiver was deleted. I went to Ramp, downloaded Receiver again, but Ramp won't detect it. I removed it and loaded Workspace, but no detection. I know I'm probably missing something very obvious, but I don't seem to be able to see it. Am I missing a step?
Thanks.
Hi Bill,
Which version of Workspace are you running? And when you go to RAMP, do you receive an error message?
Hey Dan
I was using Citrix Workspace app 2006.1 for Windows. I log into RAMP. When I click on Tessitura, I get the message "what do you want to do with" and a long file. Ordinarily, when I click OPEN, it opens Tessitura. Now, every time I click it, it comes up again. I go into Account Settings and click on Install Citrix Receiver. I click on Detect Receiver. The next screen says it is searching but nothing comes up. It appears that RAMP is not detecting the Receiver (and I've used both Citrix Receiver and Citrix Workspace). It just seems like I'm missing something and just can't figure it out. Maybe I've been home too long. LOL.
When you see that message to "Detect Receiver" you should also see an option for "Already Installed" that you can click. See if that works.
I click on "Already Installed" and it takes me back to the apps, but it's still not detecting Citrix. I feel like I'm missing a step it having RAMP Detect Citrix, since is apparently isn't finding it.
Here's an article from Citrix that may help if you're using the Chrome browser:

Thanks Dan. I'll give it a try. I have noticed, however, that when I download Workspace, it deletes Receiver. Is that correct?
Dan, I ran the Receiver Clean-up and now I can get into Tessitura. Thanks for the referral.
That's great news, Bill! I'm glad it's working properly for you now.
