RAMP: HTML Templates save location for T_FORMAT_INFO

Hello All - Sorry for the silly question but I can't find any reference to this in the help section - In our TEST environment (RAMP user) I copied then saved a standard HTML template that I want our ticket reps to use when in an order via the Print Order/Acknowledgments path. When I add a new line to our T_FORMAT_INFO system table with the name of the new HTML Template, it gives me the following error (Image provided)

Do I have to upload the document via FileMover? If so, where is the HTML Template being stored in Test when I created the copy if the HTML Template? I don't see the option to export it as a HTML doc or text doc.

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Stephen,

HTML Templates are stored entirely within Tessitura. You'll find them by going to the Go To menu > Ticketing Setup, and then the Ticketing Setup menu > HTML Templates. If you don't have access to this feature based on your user permissions, that can be edited by your system administrator in the Security Application. HTML Templates are Tessitura's newer order confirmations, based on the REST API.

But by the looks of your question and your error message, you are trying to edit and upload a email confirmation based on the SOAP API architecture, using an .aspx file. If that's the case, you can either open a support ticket to request access to the folder where this file is uploaded, or you can submit the file in a support ticket and we can place it there for you. Note that this style of email is going to be retired along with the SOAP API, when that retirement happens.

    Hope that helps!

  • Thanks again for your help. One new questions based on your response. We currently are using .aspx files for several emails,( which we edit via the FileMover app) for our order confirmation, forgot password email and a few others. I brought up your comment about our standard email confirmations being retired when the SOAP api is turned off . She wanted to for me to clarify if this is in fact true even for RAMP users?

  • Hello Stephen,

The .aspx files will no longer work when the SOAP API is decommissioned with v16.

We know that many members are currently working through the SOAP to REST API conversion and the impact that the current world situation is having on these efforts. In order to help our members, we are committed to continuing support of Tessitura v15.1 with the SOAP API through January 2022. We will continue to evaluate the needs of our community and adjust the timeline as necessary. The legacy SOAP API will no longer function or be supported as of the installation of Tessitura v16 (currently anticipated in late 2020).  Please also read this article, which is our most recent communication about the SOAP API end of life.

  • Got it! Thanks for the confirmation!
