Apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't dig it up in searching the site and documentation.
Is there a system table or other area that will allow me to add options to the gender dropdown?

Hi All,
We do have plans to address this in the v15 constituent redesign, providing a standardized place to store both Gender and Preferred Pronoun. This is much easier now that each constituent has their own account with no more name1/name2 things to worry about. Our immediate idea is to make this hard coded Attributes which will be shipped with the system and added upon upgrade, which means that sites can choose whether to use them or not.
Thanks!
This is a great update, thank you!
Hi Chuck,
We're updating to v.15 within the month. I am surfacing this discussion to see how these plans materialized.
Hi everybody--let me put this one to bed, finally. In v15.1, which went into beta release today, we have added a Gender table. In addition, we have added a system Attribute for Preferred Pronoun. We haven't configured any values for either and have left it up to members to decide whether to use the Attribute and how to create values for both. There is also a new Flex Header element for the Preferred Pronoun so that you can easily display it in the constituent header, if you want to do that.
Version 15.1 should be released generally in April and contains a bunch of other really nice enhancements. More news about the features will be available on the website soon.
Chuck, this is such great news!
We place high value on our customers being able to just be who they are and be proud of who they are when they interact with us.
It's so wonderful that Tessitura is now going to help us (even more) make that possible.
