Gender Options

Apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't dig it up in searching the site and documentation.

Is there a system table or other area that will allow me to add options to the gender dropdown?

  • +1 from me too.

I recall this topic being part of the Administrators’ discussion session at the EU conference at the Southbank Centre years ago (possibly around 2012) and there was widespread support for a change to the gender drop down at that time as well.

Hi Martin, Arts Centre Melbourne submitted an enhancement request for this in October. “As an industry that encourages engagement and community across all areas we would like to be able to take a more inclusive approach when providing options for customers and the team to choose from in the Gender field on a constituent record. Add a system table (or similar) that allows licensees to define options for the Gender drop down selection in addition to the existing Male and Female options. We would like to be able to add options for people who identify as gender neutral.” Kim
