Many organizations are closed now which may provide some people with time they don't ordinarily have to learn new skills. If you know of any free training resources that may help people learn something new during this time, please share the information here.
If anyone is looking for some advanced training on Excel, or you would like to learn SQL, MySQL, or BI, please check out this offer and sign up before 9:00 AM (PT) Friday.

Thanks for the resources! Here is another one:
Free online Excel videos. Has downloadable notes (very well done), data, and great examples of using Excel Power Query (Get & Transform). I use Power Query all the time to transform and share data with non-techy staff.

A recent example:
1) Used SSMS to pull all Campaigns, Funds, and GL's. Pasted data into Excel, used Power Query to transform data into more useful bits. Made a pivot table with multiple slicers so that other staff could confirm that changes to our GL structure were correct (there were over 800 GL's that were changed).
Thank you! I'd been eyeballing these courses for a bit.
https://www.coursera.org/ is a really great online course hub. A lot of the courses are paying, however some have a link to 'audit' the course, meaning you can take it FOC.
Edx is great. There was a great SQL course there i audited
Can you share some titles of courses you have found particularly valuable?
Yes, absolutely. Most of what I have learned about computers has been on the job over the past 15 years, so taking a structured computer science course was very helpful. I really enjoyed this one: https://courses.edx.org/courses/course-v1:HarvardX+CS50+X/course/
I am currently enrolled in the Statistics and Data Science MicroMasters program as part of my continuing education: https://courses.edx.org/dashboard/programs/71c95834-f6df-4f78-8cd7-c6461dd9b1d4/
https://courses.edx.org/courses/course-v1:HarvardX+PH525.2x+1T2020/course/I have also taken a linear algebra course to help me with my Python studies.
Chiming in to mention that Brent Ozar Unlimited is offering their Fundamentals of Index Tuning and Fundamentals of Query Tuning classes for free until April 1st:
https://mailchi.mp/brentozar/free-sql-server-training-during-the-quarantines?e=2a1dd61edc
Both of those courses use How to Think Like the SQL Server Engine as a prerequisite, which is always free, and I can’t recommend it highly enough for people who want to know a little more about what’s going on inside your database: https://www.brentozar.com/training/think-like-sql-server-engine/
With the advent of V16 still scheduled for later this year (I've not heard anything to the contrary), some HTML/C# on line training would be useful. I don't know whether Tessitura themselves are intending to offer anything to support the new Templates, but targeted training is always better than generic courses.
Learning about ASP.NET Razor would also be helpful.
This is used for the HTML recipe and other acknowledgments.
I've been using lynda.com through my local library for a long time and I find many of the courses there excellent. It is all video training with not a lot of exercises that you do yourself is the one frustration I have with it, but I've taken SQL, HTML, some networking, and I'm starting a CSS class through that service.
