Hey all, Our organization recently hired an employee that was here when we originally migrated to Tessitura. She says that at one time there was a way to keep Tessitura logged in for extended periods of time (weeks/month) and that we would only need to log into Citrix every day rather than both Citrix and Tessitura. Does this function still exist? Thanks,

For RAMP users, we recommend that the T_DEFAULTS setting for APPLICATION_TIMEOUT be set to no longer than 25 minutes, which prevents unexpected data loss when the application is closed due to inactivity by Citrix XenApp. The 30-minute timeout for Citrix XenApp is necessary to maintain PCI compliance and cannot be changed.

Specifically to your question, I am pretty sure that that functionality DID exist some 6+ years ago back using the 2X login method. But it was discouraged even then for similar reasons to what Stacey has already said. In terms of logging into only Citrix instead of both Citrix and Tessitura, maybe a Network staff member can jump in here, but I believe that something to that effect is currently on the books for a future version of Tessitura integrating with the Windows credentials.
