I'm new to this DBA role, so apologies if this is an obvious NO, as it relates to Tessitura, tokens, and chip readers... BUT has anyone explored accepting digital forms of payment such as Apple Pay, MasterPass, etc. Is this allowed on the Tessitura platfrom?

When I worked at Sydney Opera House we implemented MasterPass on the web as a checkout method. I posted about it here previously:

It was a request from MasterCard as part of a corporate sponsorship we had with them and the setup was painless just some code added to the web page and it looked like a mastercard payment method in Tessitura.

We're on Vantiv, have been using Verifone NX915 EMV card readers for about a year now, and while it wasn't a primary feature for us at the time, contactless payments (I've only tested Apple Pay via an iPhone myself) have been working since day one. I don't think it's officially supported yet, but it works.
One oddity is that the check_name field in T_PAYMENT gets populated with "/" for these payments.
