We are interested in learning what the policies are for other Organizations regarding Tessitura Fish. Since allowing employees to take Fish home with them is not an option (or not a great option) what are your policies for Tessitura Fish? Some ideas we have already read about are:
- Employees are responsible for keeping their Tess Fish at their work desk and once a month IT checks to ensure they have their Tess Fish and it's in a location that's easy for the employee to find
- Employees are responsible for picking up and dropping of their Tess Fish in a designated location (Reception/IT Desk, etc.) each day
Are there other ideas/suggestions?
I agree with Dot and Nancy. When I was at the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony we had a written policy that employees were responsible for their fish and if it was damaged or lost they are responsible for the cost of a new fish. We included this in the same document that new employees sign when they're assigned their keys and/or access pass for the building, and it includes their token number. This way we have a record of token numbers kept on file in a reliable HR location (i.e. not a random piece of paper in my desk somewhere).
