Tess Fish Policy

We are interested in learning what the policies are for other Organizations regarding Tessitura Fish.  Since allowing employees to take Fish home with them is not an option (or not a great option) what are your policies for Tessitura Fish?  Some ideas we have already read about are:

- Employees are responsible for keeping their Tess Fish at their work desk and once a month IT checks to ensure they have their Tess Fish and it's in a location that's easy for the employee to find

- Employees are responsible for picking up and dropping of their Tess Fish in a designated location (Reception/IT Desk, etc.) each day

Are there other ideas/suggestions?

  • Hey Jolene.

We toyed with those same ideas, but opted for a written policy.

The policy is written such that the employee is responsible for the token at all times.  Should they lose or damage the token, they are responsible for the replacement cost.

In addition, if the employee does take their token home and forgets it, the manager has the right to send them back home (unpaid) to retrieve the token.

    Hope that helps.
