It would appear that in the last few days, an update has been made which replaces the usual arrow mouse cursor with a magnifying glass on the constituents screen when mousing over records after a search. Unfortunately, this magnifying glass cursor seems to be hit with significant input lag versus the normal arrow cursor.
Are there any plans to make this something that can be tweaked in settings so that the normal arrow cursor could still be used?
Thank you,
Brian
Hello Brian,
We, here at the Sarasota Orchestra, noticed this also. I think it came when we switched to RAMP this week. I finally got the courage to mention this to my Manager and the IT Manager. A little quirk, but when you are working so closely with a program ALL DAY you do notice little things, little differences. We don't like the magnifying glass either. I see that your inquiry has not had any responses so I thought I would so that you don't think you are alone in the world. LOL. But, seriously, I hope that in the future we can have the ability to change this setting. Take care. :)

What version are you on in RAMP? I'm thinking this is a V14 thing; we are still on 12.5.1 and it is a drop down. Maybe file it as a bug for the new version?
Hi All
There is a known defect, #81998, where the magnifying glass cursor produces jittery and slow performance when connecting over citrix xenapp (in any version prior to v.14). The magnifying glass cursor has been replaced in version 14 with a standard mouse pointer on the constitutent search results screen and a separate defect has been submitted to replace the magnifying glass in the maintain users and maintain groups screens in the security module, which I suspect will be rolled into a future service pack or release.
Thanks
Jennifer
