AWS

Hello World,

We here at the Seattle Opera are wondering if there are any other organizations who have tried hosting their Tessitura servers on AWS (Amazon Web Services).  We are thinking of putting our Test servers there to experiment with finding out why our website is slow.

We've been running our website in the AWS stack for about 3 years now and couldn't be happier with it. We are also now in the process of setting up a DR site in AWS.  We are replicating all of our Tessitura servers to AWS in real-time and will have the ability to bring them up when we need them.  We can definitely see the possibility in the future of going all AWS and ditching our current data center.  All the components that you need to run Tessi will work in AWS. If you have any specific questions or want to chat more about it, I'd be happy to talk with you.
