Users don't show up in Reset Operators Passwords

I believe the Reset Operators Passwords form (under Reports) was something that originated in the Shared Reports Workspace of TASK under Public Knowledge Base Solution 290 although I was not here at the time and I'm pretty new to Tessitura.

We have an issue where certain users just don't show up in the dropdown. Does anybody have any experience with this issue, and if so, what user setting might be causing users to just not show up? We could reset the password using Tessitura Security, but the user's supervisor needed to do it off hours and couldn't.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Hi Gerald,

In Security, there is a Manager option where you select a User Group to 'manage' either a user or another user group (I can't remember which).

The user group of the user you want to have the ability to reset passwords needs to 'manage' the user (or user group of the user) whose password you want reset.

    Hope that makes sense!

When you open Edit User there is a place to put an email, it has to be populated in order for them to appear on the drop down for that utility.

I had this same issue when we started using this and we had new PSRs coming on board.
