(I’m cross-posting this to Ticketing and Technical, so apologies if you receive it twice…)
Hello Tessi-friends,
I am preparing for everyone’s favorite adventure, an off-site show. Here’s what I can do right now:
· I am able to connect to our Terminal Server from the computer in the venue’s ticket office.
· I am able to install one of our Boca printers on the computer in the venue’s ticket office.
· I am able to SEE the Boca printer in the remote desktop session.
Here’s what I can’t do right now:
· Select the Boca printer and print tickets in Tessitura.
Sad day, right? From what I can tell, the printer’s there, installed, and coming through on the RDP session. Tessitura just can’t use it. Any ideas?
Thanks!

And if you have the older and slightly less shiny Server 2008 version, the function is called “easy print”, and I had to turn it off via group policy to get my bocas to play nice with remote. This was a few years ago, and I recall tearing my hair out over it at the time.
Good luck!

Hi Patrick
Is your terminal server a shiny new Server 2012 version, with the Universal Printer Driver option? I believe people have had problems printing from Tess with that switched on, and have had to disable it. There's some posts on here with more detail, I think.
