I'm looking to pull some reports that analyze our patrons ticketing history before they came subscribers. I have a list of our new mainstage subscribers but do not know if there is an easy way to pull their ticketing history en mass.
We offer a number of different programming options (family shows, script readings, holiday events) and we want to see who, if any, bought single tickets to those events before becoming subscribers to our Mainstage season. The ultimate goal is to be able to say "Roughly, 30% of our new subscribers originally bought script readings before subscribers." I understand there may be overlap with patrons buying multiple programs but we would like to have a general idea of where we are having success converting single ticket buyers into subscribers.
Cheers,
Chad
Hi Chad,
I would begin by creating an extraction set with the different segments you want to analyze. You can prioritize the segments to find out where the overlap happens. Use the Suppression Report to find the number of patrons who bought which tickets before subscribing. This will start answering some of those immediate questions and it will also help lead you to more follow up questions.

If you have Tstats it can be really useful to create lists of New Subscribers and then use that list as a filter in the tickets cube, reporting on Number of Households. That will help show the trends of what shows have the greatest crossover. You can also do the opposite and pull single ticket lists and then filter a Package Report by those lists. This is good especially if you targeted attenders of a particular performance and want to see the return on investment.
Thanks for the lead. I will look into this.
We do have T-Stats and will investigate your suggestions. Thanks!
Great! If you run into any questions as you play with it feel free to reach out to me directly and I can walk you through what I usually do.
