Pulse alerts

It's Analytics day for me so a second question!

I set up a pulse alert to email myself and a colleague once a certain number of tickets had been sold. The alert worked in that I could see it in my alarm bell at the top right hand of the Analytics screen, but it did not email to me or my co-worker. We both have an email address associated with our Tessitura user record, have logged into Analytics, and have an overlapping user group. I created the dashboard where the widget lives and have shared it with her. What is the missing piece to get the alert to email us?

Thanks

  • Hello Jess,

On the Analytics Web server, in C:\Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\vnext\iisnode, you should find a corresponding entry for each email attempt that looks like this:
    134.687 [2019/12/10 17:56:42.854] [51796],[INFO] [mailSender-v1]: [mailSender.sendMail sending mail: Bcc: cwallingford@tessituranetwork.com]

You can also look in the nodeJSlogs.log in C:\ProgramData\Sisense\PrismWeb\Logs

Any clues there?  If you'd like some help, you can include those files when you open a support ticket and we'll be glad to look into it further with you.

  • Thanks! I will track down these logs and open a ticket.
