Capacity, Seats Available and Seats Held

Heath kindly sent me a work-around for this but it doesn't seem to work on my end. I am trying to include in my pivot table the specific capacity for each concert (it is different for each concert bc of stage extensions and production black outs), the number of seats available for sale, and the number of seats in hold codes. Season Manager seems to have it, so I should be able at access these numbers somehow. Anyone have a solution other than writing complex formulas?

Thanks,

Michael

  • Thank you Health and Maery. Attached is the .dash file of the dashboard that my VP asked me to design and she wants me to columns on the pivot table that includes holds, opens, and capacity. Also attached is the workaround that I am having to do in Excel to give her that information (entered manually from Season Manager). Many thanks for any help you can offer me.

  • Thanks for this, Michael! I think that you should look at the value "Seat Unsold Count", which should get you the total available seats (unless you're using the Suppress Unsold keyword on your performances, as I just discovered we apparently are?). From there, I think a filtered value like (SUM(Total Unsold Seat Count), Seat Hold Code) should get you to where you need to be with Held/Open -- though I'm not current on the intricacies of how hold codes are handled in the various versions.
