Rearranging Columns in Pivot Tables

Hi All!

*Updating this to avoid the confusion*

Just a simple question, but does anyone know how (if you can at all) to rearrange the column order in a pivot table? In the photo below i'd like to have "Gold Circle" be listed first. These all come from the same field, so rearranging the fields doesnt apply in this instance.

Best,

  • Hi Brian,

You can rearrange any of your criteria on a pivot table by dragging and dropping it to where you want to move it. You can even move from columns to rows until you get the information to appear like you want.

I hope this tip makes sense because it’s a little hard to explain. I’ve found this to be a little finicky – you’ll try to move it and it’ll snap back to its original place. I’ve found that placing the criteria at the bottom of the list and then moving up works well. A gray box will also appear before you drop the criteria. Screenshot included.

  • Ahh, sorry i should have specified. The column headers (A Price, B Price, C Price, D Price and Gold Circle) are all coming from the same Field. So is there a way to rearrange their order if they come from the same field?

  • Hi Brian,

Have you tried adding Zone Rank?

Zone group Rank might be better in your example
