Howdy all!
I'm trying to create a heat map of the our standard seating banks for all shows across the year. Has anyone found a way to do this through analytics?
Thanks
Hey Lachlan,
Here's a copy of a Seat Heat map that Chris Wallingford sent me.
SeatHeatMapTemplate..dash
Thanks Chris!
Unfortunately we're not set up for ElastiCube. Will have to see if there's some way to adapt this
If you are on V15 and using analytics, then this dashboard should work for you. You have to change the data set (as each organization has unique datasets) and then any elasticube errors should go away (if they don't, I would open a TASK ticket for support as there might be something else going on). That error is just a normal error you see in analytics. I've attached a screen shot of where you change the data source.
Christopher Cuhel I was able to successfully load the Seat Map.
I just downloaded this, and it's exactly what I needed! But, when I switch to look at Price Zones, the map extends past the visible window. Any recommendations?
Thank you for including a copy of this heat map! This was just what I was looking for so a billion thanks! One problem I've run into is generating a heat map for previous season... I can get our 21/22 to work but nothing else. I've tried other heat map templates but I'm still running into the same issue... Do you have any suggestions by chance?
Hi Autumn,
One thought: seat location information is excluded from Analytics for GA seat maps. Any chance those prior seasons were all GA?
Another: ticket history imported into Analytics (tickets in ticket history not associated with orders in your Tessitura system) do not have seat locations in Analyitcs. Any change those prior seasons are just ticket history without live orders in Tessitura?
Those feel unlikely, so if those don't shed light, please open a support ticket for someone to delve a bit.
Cheers,Chris
I have been diving a little deeper into this map, and am looking to use it as a start for pricing analysis of our current zone set up and price point. I am very interesting in filtering by Price Type Category to see where Subscribers are sitting, where single ticket buyers are, and where maybe no one is sitting, to see where there may be opportunities for adjustments. If I am looking at this filter for more than one performance, what is the hierarchy of the color break? If a seat was sold once as a subscription seat and then once as a single ticket seat, which color will be shown?
Thankful for any guidance!
