Folks,
I'm running the Campaign Giving Comparison report comparing the 2014 End of Financial Year campaign against the 2015 EOFY campaign. Group and Compare parameter set to Fund, Show Const Detail = Yes, Group by Household = Yes and Filter Giving = Gave to Group2, but not Group1.
I'm finding that a few households are being included with a curious, negative balance figure being displayed - the attached screenshot displays an example. In this example, there is a contribution to the 2014 EOFY campaign attached to the household record and a contribution to the 2015 EOFY campaign attached to Pamela Broads record.
I can't work out:
Can anyone help me decipher this conundrum?
Martin
Martin,
I think that is the variance column which would mean that they gave that amount in one year but not the other. I must say I have found strange results with this report when I select "Group by Household". If what you are seeing is not correct try running it without grouping by household and see what you get.
Thanks for the reply Terry but this doesn't help me I'm afraid!
Running the report without grouping by household returns the record for Miss Broad (without reference to the household) - which is misleading (in our eyes, anyway) as neither Miss Broad or the Household should be returned in the report at all.
Maybe it's time to get a TASK ticket opened?
