Integration with Sage 50

Hi, everyone - apologies if this has been posted before and I've missed it: but does anyone have any reports they'd like to share to help us better integrate Tess with Sage 50 accounting software? Ideally, we're looking for a report that can be exported as a .csv that can then be uploaded directly into Sage.

You will earn the undying thanks of not only myself, but also our Finance team and our auditors.

Thanks in advance...!

Hello, Alison and Daniel (and anyone else who is interested)...

This has been a long process, and we're still testing. I'm afraid it got dropped for a while, and we're only recently picking it back up. However, there's definite movement.

The first thing I'd say is that our custom report may not be immediately useful for many other organisations because of how we use our GL codes. We don't have a separate GL for each production (instead we use Department Codes within Sage to subdivide income). Plus, we split out VAT to a separate GL code...

In any case, it might be worth you having a look at the briefing doc I created for this project. And I'll keep you posted with my progress on this thread.

I'd love to hear more as well. We are going live next week and have Sage 50 that our accounting team would love to be able to import their entries.
