Hi, everyone - apologies if this has been posted before and I've missed it: but does anyone have any reports they'd like to share to help us better integrate Tess with Sage 50 accounting software? Ideally, we're looking for a report that can be exported as a .csv that can then be uploaded directly into Sage.
You will earn the undying thanks of not only myself, but also our Finance team and our auditors.
Thanks in advance...!

As discussed last night - very happy to show you what and how we are doing for getting info out of Tessitura to create a journal to import into our accounting system - Infor Sun Systems.
Drop me a line and we can do a join.me.

Hey Chris
Did you ever get any information on this? Our Finance department is interested in automating the Tessitura to Sage connection.

I just completed writing a report for one of our consortium members that exports daily posting information (based on a date) to the format expected by Sage. I’m not sure if there are different versions of Sage, or what version my consortium member is using, but I’m happy to share it if that would be useful.

For anyone who's interested, I uploaded the script, report, and report definition to my Tessitura Network profile. It's called "Sage Financial Export." Let me know if you have any questions or need any help with it!

Hi, Chris -
So sorry for the delayed reply. I got back from holiday a week ago and it's been pretty relentless since then!
After a bit of back-and-forth, we have decided to write a custom report for our integration. This is largely because of the way we use GL codes and report on VAT within the application. We're in the testing stages right now, but I'd be happy to tell you more when we know more!
Hi Chris
Sounds great! I'd love to hear more once it's all working smoothly. We're just starting our implementation for finance, and we're looking at reports and integration with Sage...
thanks

I'd love to hear more as well. We are going live next week and have Sage 50 that our accounting team would love to be able to import their entries.
Hello, Alison and Daniel (and anyone else who is interested)...
This has been a long process, and we're still testing. I'm afraid it got dropped for a while, and we're only recently picking it back up. However, there's definite movement.
The first thing I'd say is that our custom report may not be immediately useful for many other organisations because of how we use our GL codes. We don't have a separate GL for each production (instead we use Department Codes within Sage to subdivide income). Plus, we split out VAT to a separate GL code...
In any case, it might be worth you having a look at the briefing doc I created for this project. And I'll keep you posted with my progress on this thread.

Thanks Chris – this report briefing doc is really helpful.
