Hello V11 gurus,
Has anyone experienced their v11 toolbar icons showing a blue tile where the transparent sections are?
We have this issue in XP, but not in Windows 7. Unfortunately, 99.99% of our machines are running XP.
Cheers,
Nicholas
Hi Guys
We get this only on our Windows 2003 terminal services boxes but stangely not on XP. Though haven't found the fix, must be transparency settings but can't find solution!
Thanks
Nick
We get this on some XP machines but not all of them, and I can’t find anything different in the graphics settings.

Interesting, thanks guys. If you stumble across a solution, please share. We will do likewise.
Nicholas et al. I wonder if this has to be with XP color settings. Would you check to see if you have the default scheme or other scheme applied to the machines with this issue?
Best,
Anna
Hi guys -
I know for me one my old Windows 2003 box the icons were not pretty when you change color themes from the default windows classic. In Window 2008 I've found that my users prefer going back to a Windows Classic color scheme instead of the Aero themes for Tessitura. Go figure.

Hi Anna and Heather. Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, the blue icon background persists for all XP machines, with different colour schemes. My own machine is always set to the standard Windows Classic theme, and also has the issue.
It occurs to me that in the documentation, the icons have a white background that looks very pleasant. Are the graphics for the toolbar extractable for me to manually fill the transparent zones with white pixels?
I'm using Windows 7 and have white backgrounds on the icons, however thought it was an issue with using Citrix as it was taking the settings from the server and not my individual machine. Call centre reps use VMware to access Tessitura and are having issues with the magnifying glass being white on a white background on the search screen.
We haven't been able to resolve either of these issues and it's quite a pain for call centre staff not being able to see where the magnifying glass is on their screen.
What are color settings on machines having this problem? (Right-click desktop, Properties, Settings tab: screen resolution, color quality).
It's a long-shot, but this might have an effect on the ability to render transparent images.
When you have a custom icon it shows on the desktop as the custom icon but once opened it defaults back to the normal icon. Has anyone found an answer for this?
We upgraded to windows 7. We didn’t find a solution. BTW do you have a plan in place for when Microsoft stops supporting XP in about 3 weeks?

I'm not able to reproduce this issue. I wonder if your client file distribution method is deleting the custom icon files and recreating them? Can you create a set of custom icons outside of the client distribution file set?
