Transcend - v10 & v11 shared on same box

I have Test instances for v10 & v11 side-by-side on the same box.  I also have Test Transcend on the same box which always worked fine with v10.  Now the Transcend ascii gateway in the Transcend control tray will not start.  I suspect this is a port conflict since I installed v11 services on this box.  Does this sound right?  I don’t recall setting any port# during the v11 setup.  Can I share transcend while testing v10 & v11?

You should be able to share your one Test Transcend between your v10 and v11 Test systems, and they should all be ok on the same box.  The v11 install shouldn’t impact Transcend’s ascii gateway unless you happened to set a v11 port to the same as Transcend is listening on.  The first suspect would be the payment gateway service.  Check it’s config file and verify that the ‘transcendPort’ value in the <Transcend> node is set to the port that the Ascii Gateway is listening on.  Also check that the ‘Port’ value in the <appSettings> section is set to the port the payment gateway Windows service is listening on (this should match what is in t_defaults).
