I'm still trying to wrap my brain around this concept.
In one sentence what is the difference between affiliations and associations?
Affiliations link group constituents (households and organizations) to individual constituents and trigger all the special sharing of data between households and individuals.
Associations link individuals to individuals, households to households, and organizations to organizations and have no special functionality (they just record a relationship).
