This question may have been answered previously, but I haven't been following this forum regularly so will just go ahead and ask:
If a V10 record has only an N1, does it stay as an individual record in V11? Does that mean that individual records can exist with no household affiliations?
It can be. It all depends on how you set up the TR_Mappings (table name may be wrong). I am sure there are lots of others on here more qualified to answer this but we accidently linked up child members to a household during our conversion when we didn't mean to.
It was cause we told Tessitura to do that so just double check your mappings and you will be fine.

If I may ask a follow up, I just haven't seen this explicitly stated anywhere. There's been so much emphasis on Name2, I might have missed the answer to this.
Is a Name2 entry required for the creation of a household? Will households be created for two individual records which are linked solely by a v10 association?

Constituent accounts that have only a N1 in v10 will remain exactly the same in v11. So yes, that does mean that individual records can exist in v11 with no Household affiliations.
