Seatmap help

Hi,

We recently got new computers, updating from XP to 7. For some reason the seat map view for us now doesn't show the separate seats like it used to. I thought there was an option in Tools > Preferences but I can't seem to find it. The seat map now looks like a giant blob of one mega seat. How do I get my borders back?

Thanks,

Maurice

  • Maurice, in the Display Options in Control Panel, try turning off the ClearType text option.  That’s resolved the issue for other users that have reported this problem of the seat maps not showing the vertical lines between the seats.  Incidentally, the lines not being there does not impact being able to assign seats as you normally would.

  • Hi Maurice,

Right click on the Desktop and select Personalize.

On the window that opens, click on Display (in the bottom left).

On the next window click Adjust ClearType Text.

Uncheck Turn On ClearType and then follow the prompts to save.

    Maurice, in Windows, go to:

Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Display>Adjust Clear Type Text

and ensure that the checkbox for "Turn on Clear Type" is unchecked.  After unchecking this box, click on "Next" to be taken through a series of steps to select sample text which looks best to you and the display will be appropriately adjusted based on your selections.

  • This is why I love forums and read them like a daily newspaper...every so often you find a fix for the most annoying problems.  Thank you for this question and the responses; We can all see our vertical lines again. Alleluia!!

  • Thanks everyone. That was exactly the problem.
